Training
The most competent employees and golf pros in the industry work at Eagle Golf properties. It’s no surprise considering the resources we invest in our recruiting process. Between cultivating our candidate pipeline and the rigorous interview and vetting procedure, only the most qualified move on to training. After all, it’s our staff that sets us apart from the competition and reflects Eagle Golf service, which we refer to as Eagle I.O.
Training begins the moment an employee joins the Eagle Golf team. Acclimating to Eagle’s philosophy and high standards is key so we hold new hire orientations and provide training checklists for all new staff members. We take performance personally. Unmotivated employees often times simply lack the confidence or the proper training to do their job well. Give them the right training and they shine.
Training doesn’t end after the initial orientation. We provide on-going support and learning opportunities for staff regardless of their tenure with Eagle. All Eagle Golf employees have access to our “Get It” website where they share and find best practices in their departments. Sales and marketing communicate in the forum, “Chip In,” while General Managers post success blogs in the “Fore! Real” section.
Grooming up-and-coming management talent
A specially developed General Management In Training (GMIT) curriculum is available to Eagle Golf’s Assistant Superintendents and Assistant General Managers. The GMIT program prepares future managers for growth opportunities and to assume responsibility for managing operations and agronomics at our golf courses.
Having prepared, motivated employees at every level is the only way to achieve lasting success and promote the outstanding customer service for which Eagle Golf is known.
