Agronomy

Eagle Golf’s philosophy toward turf management focuses on protecting the environment, thus protecting the health of staff and players. It’s not easy to do both simultaneously, but it’s the right thing to do.

Protecting the environment requires that we train our staff to tackle and solve potential environmental issues before they become a threat. In 2006, Eagle Golf began working formally with Audubon International. We’re moving toward Audubon certification for each Eagle golf course.

Eagle’s agronomy and maintenance teams develop and implement plans integrating turf AND pest management for our golf courses. The plans share the same goals, but each addresses regional and climate variances to be truly effective and cost-efficient.

When you bring Eagle Golf on board, you’re investing in agronomy and maintenance programs that emphasize limited and tightly controlled inputs based on precise environmental data. Based on the data, we’ll create a program with time tested agronomic methods to build and maintain a superior turf, boosting your golfers’ enjoyment.

Our agronomy and maintenance specialists take protecting your turf very seriously

Our agronomists work hard in the background and let the course conditions speak for themselves. Paying attention to the details without spending a fortune is a key difference between Eagle Golf and other course management companies.

These are details you might not notice until it’s time to evaluate the bottom line. Incorporating environmental awareness and water resource management into daily and long-term maintenance practices is second nature to our agronomy experts. This ensures that the quality and beauty your course has today will last for years to come.
